I'm looking for a replacement for a Javascript-based Thumbnail ticker/Carousel on my websites. It must be - Cross browser compatible (IE, FF, Safari, Chrome) - Support any number of images (up to 100 !) - Support any size mix of images (Landscape, portrait, and other clipped sizes) - Support larger view if clicked upon (lightbox or any likewise technology) with progressing slideshow - Easy to adapt display size and some limited other parameters (xml?) - Easy to feed with images (xml?) the current scripts and their behavior can be seen on: - [login to view URL] (OSCommerce) - [login to view URL] (Drupal) - [login to view URL] (Drupal) Possible solutions: - Flash with xml settings and xml picture input - JQuery - any other I know many likewise examples exist, but they all do not align 100%. That's why I consider this project as a rather very small project. Open for discussion on that :-)
